Hi, I'm Marco. I build and ship software that works in production.
Software engineer across AI and the full stack. Recent work includes Eleftheria, a self-hosted AI workspace with RAG, local LLMs and vector search, and VENETICA, a travel app I built alone and sell on both stores. I work in Python and FastAPI on the backend, Flutter and React on the front end, and Docker in between.
Marco Restif is my brand name; my full name is Marco Restifo Pecorella. I am based in Venice, Italy and work remotely with clients in the US and Europe. I hold two granted patents and compete internationally in fencing and chess.

I build software for a living, and I also hold a Bachelor's in Economics from Ca' Foscari and a Master's in International Business from HSE University. That background is a plus on every product I ship: I care about revenue and users as much as architecture.

Self-hosted AI workspace for regulated teams, built from scratch: RAG over company documents, fully local LLM inference, a coding agent with isolated Docker workspaces, JWT and LDAP auth. Python, FastAPI, React, pgvector, Docker. In private beta.

Ride-hailing on water: book a gondola or a private water taxi, buy vaporetto tickets and watch the boat arrive live on the map, while gondoliers and drivers accept requests and track earnings. Flutter, Supabase, OpenStreetMap. Coming soon.

Primary developer on client products delivered end to end: EMBRS, Zellium, Clipfolio and Only The Game. Flutter front ends, Supabase backends with RLS and edge functions, store releases on schedule, direct point of contact for clients and PMs.

A task manager where people and AI agents share the same board: work assigned to either, shared status, tracked hand-offs, and hosted MCP tools so Claude and Cursor create and update tasks themselves. Next.js, React, Supabase, Agora. Live.

Built and commercialised a cross-platform travel app with immersive audio guides, solo, from architecture to store deployment. 42,000+ organic impressions, 1,000+ downloads and steady monthly revenue with zero marketing spend.
